Mission Report

: MISSIONS TRIP April 2006 :

This was a truly amazing time. Richard Pedley, Pete Gray and myself flew to Dubai at the beginning of April and spent a few days with Pastor Moises and his wife Connie, who head up a ministry there in the UAE. The hunger and sense of expectancy far outweighed my expectations and a large number of people were baptised in the Holy Spirit, as well as testimonies of healings.

It was great to be back in the Philippines where we held two Pastor’s conferences and a youth camp, as well as ministering in a number of Churches in Dumaguete. Pete did a great job with leading praise and worship on a number of occasions. It was a real eye opener for him as it was his first mission trip. One of the highlights was seeing a lady who had been healed of dengue fever and typhoid on the last trip, in Church and looking radiant, with members of her family!

The Pastor’s conference with Sammy and Wennelyn Pacleb was really blessed. the praise and worship was a real inspiration and there were a number of healings, including a lady who had been completely deaf in one ear, a man healed of arthritis and various other conditions. We are looking forward to the possibility of returning next year to do a crusade.

Recent news from Ocoy is that there is the possibility of opening a school in the Church there. A large number of the children do not attend school and the whole village seems trapped in a cycle of poverty. Please pray that the Lord will open doors and that necessary provision will be made in terms of resource, teachers etc.

Children from the home in Jaffna

Part of the HTMI vision is to see people released from poverty to be able live happy and productive lives. We therefore are looking firstly, to help children who have lost their parents, who would otherwise be living on the streets, to have a caring home, wholesome food, and a good education. The best way of providing this is to work in partnership with orphanage ministries already established.

HTMI is currently working in partnership with two orphanage ministries in India and Sri Lanka. Both Ministries are visited by HTMI on a regular basis and the standard of care has been consistently excellent.

Your financial gift of £20 per month will help children in the third world to live in a safe and positive environment, also ensuring that children receive a good education
